How are you this week? How are you with the final semestre?
I´m fine this week...
Today I will talk about Summer plans, I love the summer!!!
For this year I would like to go to the south with my boyfriend, for about three or two weeks.

The first idea is to go to Valdivia, because I have  friends in this place and I think it is very nice to walk in the forests, there are a lot of vegetation and fauna, and my favorite animal lives here, the name is "monito del monte", he is a endemic marsupial.
Then Valdivia I would like to go to Chiloé, in this place I have a house and this house is very nice, it has solar energy and there is a water collector of rain.
I think in Chiloè there are a lot of places to visit, and the food is very good (mm... ñami ñami) I imagine to eat this food...
Finally I would like to go to  Frutillar or Puerto Varas, I think these places have magic,it is very nice, there are a lot of green because the vegetation is very dense and very big, there are trees of 50 metre.
To be able to go to on holidays, I will work all January... !

AAAhhh the other plan I have is to go to Araucania with students, because I work with the teacher Sergio Donoso and the students have the second practice with this teacher, I don`t know the date but I think it is in the last week of January.

Hi classmates 
How are you this week? I´m very fine.

Today I will talk about my best friend, but there is a problem because I have 2 best friend, the first is Eloisa Casanova, she is very nice person in this moment live in Montevideo, Uruguay, Because stady medicine hir. We meet know in the high school, when I was 15 years old.
She is very special person for me because every time has a good advise for me, she is very friendly and every time she has a smile. Maybe in January I will be able to see her, because I would like go to Montevideo in holidays.
My other best friend is Sofia Acuña, we meet in the university since  4 years ago, She is my partner...
I consider my best friend because with Sofia I have very nice memories and we share every week crazy and funny moments that I want to live for a long time more. Also, we can talk about personal problems waiting a great answer to other part or simply a hold, but finally the principal reason to consider my best friend to Sofia is because every time she be.

I think in the life we have a lot of person close people, but with the time simply disappear people, but there are people who are.

Hi classmates !!!
How are you ?? I`m really fine but I´m so tired this week...
Today I will talk about  environmentally friendly practices. I was learning about environmentally education since always, because my family has environmentally conscience, Every time They talk about the importance of flora, fauna and ecosystem in general.

At the present I recycle in my house, for me this is very important because  before   recycling in my house there was a lot of litter, and today I have a little litter. 
I think that Santiago is a little missing regarding  recycle , because many people  don’t  really care for anything as to take care of environment and this is unfortunate.
In my routine I use the bicycle to move in the city and I love it, because I can listen to music and practice sports  at the same time.

Also when I visit my friends, I tell the children in the houses about the care of environment, I tell about the importance of ecosystem and the friendly practices that we must have with our nature, animals and cities.

Finally I think it  is very important to do activities for the environment and we are the example. 

Well, I will write the next week again...

Hi classmates!!!
How are you?? I`m fine, very fine.
Today I will talk about my future job, but really I don`t know my  favorite job, only I know I don`t  like to live in Santiago and for this reason I need a job in another place, outside Santiago... every time I think I can work in a farm school or in tourism.
Maybe I won`t work in my area, because I love to study the forest  but I don´t know about the job...
There is one area I love, it is the conservation and to work in this area it is necessary to  work in the university because only in this place you can choose your study area.

I like cooking a lot , maybe I can have a restaurant or cafeteria in the south, in Valdivia, Puerto Varas or Frutillar.

In this moment I have a lot of ideas, but I know the most important is to  finish my degree then I can decide a job... 

AAAHHH, I almost forgot, for me the most important thing when I finish my degree is to travel, first I would like to go to New Zeland to learn English and then I would like  to go to India.

Hi classmates, how are you??  I am fine !!!

Today a I will talk about election day...
I think voting is very very important because it is a society´s expression, but in Chile it is complex because there isn´t a real alternative, for example in the last election the option was "Nueva mayoria (ex Concertacion) or La alianza" because the other candidates didn´t have the real option.
In Chile there are a lot of problems in the society and  no president has done a real change, I don´t know why but it is just like this ...
For the next presidential election maybe I will participate, I don´t know yet , and this resolution depends on the  alternatives.. also for me it is very important the campaigns because I don´t like my city with a lot of  propaganda, this is not good it is very unpleasant, maybe I prefer to listen to debate, but I don´t like the visual pollution.
Finally I have never  considered to  become  a politician, I prefer  to contribute in other way , for example I want to contribute from my profession, save the flora and fauna endemic of Chile...

This is my opinion about the election day, I think there are a lot of problems in my society, but we can change this reality...

Hi classmates!!
Today I will talk about one day, I remember every time this day, when I was 12 years old,Sol come to live with me, it´s my dog,she  is a beautiful dog, my partner...
I was in my house and my father called me and said "Hi negrita, I have a present for you, she will be your partner, and needs your affection and care, I arrive in 15 minute at home. Bye, see you"

In that moment I didn't understand anything... then my father arrive with a beautiful dog, was very little and the dog had a lot of fear.
I taken in my hands, and said "your name is Sol", every days I went to the park with my dog, in the night I slept with sol... She had a lot of energy...
Today Sol has 11 years old, is a old dog, she don´t have energy for run in the park, but she is happy sleeping in my room, or for example when I stady, she sleep in my foots.
I love my dog, definitely she is my partner and I know she feels the same.

Hi classmates !!

Today I will talk about my first concert, when I was 12 years old I went to see to Shakira in the "Estadio nacional", I was very fanatic, every time I memory this day, I went with my uncle, her name is María Angelica and is very nice person, She don`t like Shakire but she went for me.

I listen to Shakira when I was 6 years old, I know every song, my favorite was "inevitable" but there was a lot of good song, the other I like is "donde están los ladrones" .

The concert was very very good, she can sing and dance to same time, and had good presentation, this day I arrived to Estadio nacional to 5.00 pm and the concert started to 9.00 pm, in this four hours I was very excited...

Today I don`t like Shakira, because she change a lot of, today her music is different, she forget her start... Some time I like listen her antique music, and memory my past.

Level 4, second term 2015

Hi classmates!!

This is my last post , and I will talk about my future job.

I decided to get into the natural sciences and for me it is important that the care and conservation of nature.

In the future I would like to work in direct contact with nature, for example in a national park or a national reserve (on purpose to national parks in the future I would like to know the Torres del Paine park, but I would not work here because it is a very cold place and would have to be away from my family).

To choose a job would have to be considered to be in direct contact with the nature and to be in a warm climate area, for example in arid areas of north of Chile. Also I like to work in Santiago (or nearby) to see my family. But I do not like to work in a sawmill because it seems boring.

The main feature of my strengths is that I am a proactive person; I like to work in teams and learn new things. But between my disadvantages is that I am a lazy person and I get bored of things easily.

Today I will  talk about the recycling…

Recycling, It defined like action of reuse and reduce the product, his purpose is decrease the ambient contamination. Normally, the recycling allows improve environmental conditions

In Chile is very difficult to recycle, because the people not have many places to go to leave their things, on the other hand, the people don’t have much information about recycle.

Recycling is very important, because thanks to it we can change materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution and water pollution by reducing the need for conventional waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

In Chile is very difficult to recycle, because not have many places to go to leave their things, on the other hand, the people don’t have much information about recycle.

I’ve not recycling, because to my family really don’t care do it (in reference to recycle organic waste). So, it’s hard for me recycle in my house. so I try to protect the environment in other ways, for example, I use plastic bags many times before throwing them away, I use sometimes aerosol, among other things. On the other hand, when I have to get somewhere (which is not found far enough), I try to get there walking or cycling, as I think that if I have healthy legs probably I should use them.

Well, if you ask me, all people around the world should recycle and care the environment to the future generations.

Today I will talk about the ecosystem services, in the future I want work in this area... 

Actually in the university there is only one person working in this area, her name is Claudia Cerda, she is very good professional and good person too. 

First is necessary understand the concept ecosystem, for example the forest are an ecosystem and their there are relationships between biotic and abiotic components (water flow, soil, animals, plants, tree), but the most important is ecosystem provide services to society…

In the literature ecosystem services can be categorized in four main types:

1. Supporting (Nutrient cycling, soil formation)
2. Provisioning (Food, fresh water, wood and fiber)
3. Regulatin (Climate,Flood, water purification) 
4. Cultural  (Aesthetic,spiritul,educational )

 Ecosystem services are the direct and indirect contributions of ecosystems to human well-being. They support directly or indirectly our survival and quality of life.

Finally for maintaining this services is necessary preserve to forest...

Hi classmates!!!

Today I will talk about my favorite piece of technology...For my is very difficult decision because I don`t like technology, but  thinking, maybe I can talk about my experience with my cell phone...

Wen I was 15 years old I had my first cell phone, I was very excited... then I had that cell phone for 5 years, but when I was 20 years old I decided not to have a cell phone anymore, because I did`t like the idea of being on connection every time and today the people are connect in every instant and forget the real communication.

Finally I confess, is not every bad... 

I think, is very good idea sen message, you can give a nice message to friends or  nice person for you...

Actually I have cell phone since january, for my is a new experience.

Today I will talk about my favorite photograph...

Actually I have a lot of favorites  photographies, but this is the most  important for me because Garfilucho is my real friend... when I was 15 years old he arrived to my house and since that moment he sleeps with me every day. This picture was took by Tomas two years ago at my house, in my room. Garfilucho was sleeping in my bed and I was sleeping on the floor when the picture was took. I like this photo because Garfield seems to be thinking. It also looks like  he was relaxed and natural which is something I really like watching. Perhaps more than the picture itself, I like the fact that Garfilucho is very important to me and I care a lot about him. He says hi to me every morning by askyng me to feed him and accompanies me to the gate of my house when I leave for univerisity.

It may seem for some people like a normal picture, but is more tan that, is a picture of something so normal in my life and for that same reason something that is almost neccesary.

I really hope you enjoyed the picture and my writting.

Hi classmates, today I will tolk about  Monito del Monte, because  is my favorite animal, this  is a marsupial, endemic of Chile and Argentica, they  live in forests, and their  distribution in Chile is from Región del Maule  to Chiloé .

They are very charismatic, and their presence has a different sense for the local culture, for example, for the mapuches this animal represent bad luck and in chiloé represent virtue.

For their reconnaissance are important: taxonomy (little marsupial, their colors are white and yellow  brown, and finally has a long tail) and biotype , whit this characteristic you can recognise this species. 

At present the Monito del Monte has a conservation category very alarming, are vulnerable, this is very important for the forester because we work in the Monito del Monte house, whit this present is probable disappear, for this is necessary conservation the forest.

Today I will tolk about my expectations for a new semester, this is my semester number VII and I have six subject, Modelación, Silvicultura, Propagación, English, Ordenación and Redacción, my favorite is Silvicultura because I can understand the forest and the teacher is very good person.
I dislike Modelación, because has a lot of math and I don´t like math, I prefer biology sciences, I love this area.
Finally I want to have  a good semester, with good marks, it is  my idea.
In the week I have time for other activities, for example I work in a restaurant 3 days a week because I want  to earn the money for a travel in summer.

My name is Esire Encina Campos, I was born in Santiago, Chile in 1992 , I´m  22 years old and I live in Ñuñoa with my father, my sister and my brother.
I study Forestry  Engineering in Universidad de Chile and  I love my career and my university.
I have three pets at home, two dogs and their names are Sol and Blue, and I have one cat, its name is Garfilucho and sleep with my every night.
In my free time, I like dance flamenco, read different books and listen to music. I love Jorge Drexler, is my favorite artist his words are marvelous.
